Instructions
  1. Brew the Tea Brew cup of strong black tea. Allow it to cool completely, or refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Build the Cocktail In a cocktail shaker or large measuring cup, combine the chilled tea, bourbon, sorghum syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Stir or shake until the sorghum syrup is fully dissolved.
  3. Prepare the Glasses Fill two tall glasses with ice. Divide the fresh peach slices between the glasses.
  4. Pour & Finish Pour the tea mixture evenly over the ice and peaches. For a lighter, bubbly cocktail, top each glass with 2–3 oz of club soda.
  5. Garnish Add a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice if desired. Stir gently before serving.
Recipe Notes

Choose ripe peaches: They add natural sweetness and aroma.
Balance the sweetness: Sorghum syrup varies by brand, so start with 2 tablespoons and add more if needed.
Fresh lemon juice is key: It brightens the drink and balances the rich, caramel notes of the sorghum.
Make it ahead: Mix the tea, lemon juice, and sorghum syrup several hours in advance. Add the bourbon, peaches, and ice just before serving.

Variations
Peach Bourbon Smash: Muddle a few peach slices and mint in the glass before adding the cocktail.
Sparkling Peach Tea: Top generously with club soda for a lighter, more refreshing drink.
Herbal Twist: Replace the mint with fresh basil for a subtly savory finish.
