Cornmeal Molasses Pancakes
Light, crispy, with a cornmeal texture–these pancakes will impress you. Finished off with Golden Barrel syrup, they’re the perfect breakfast treat.
  1. In a large bowl, combine the egg, buttermilk, molasses and melted butter.
  2. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add the cornmeal last, stirring just until combined. The batter will be lumpy.
  3. Scoop/pour out Golden Barrel Coconut Oil on skillet and wait till hot. Pour pancake batter onto hot skillet to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles form around the outer edges then flip and brown on the other side.
  4. Serve immediately with butter and Golden Barrel Pancake and Waffle Syrup.
