Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In large bowl attached to a stand mixer (or with hand mixer), beat butter, coconut oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. With mixer on low, mix the dry ingredients into the dough until just combined. Mix in the chocolate chips. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out batter onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, making sure to not overbake. Cool slightly on the cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
